I haven't been on a neuroleptic in over 20 years. As a teen I suffered from OCD, and in the 70's and 80's the dummies gave me things like prolixin for it. Yes, you become MORE depressed.
I learned the hard way to be extremely wary of psychiatrists. They sometimes seem to think like fundamentalist followers of certain religions. Inflexible. Ideologues. Lacking creativity.
A friend recently took an overdose of seraquel and died. They say it was accidental. The person had numerous problems, including epilepsy. But, I wonder if seraquel aggravated her depression.
